episode 5: wilding - a blessing for your natural dignity
In this episode I share a spoken prayer-poem to awaken your wild, natural dignity. It’s also more than a poem - it’s a declaration, an activation, a blessing, an affirmation, an intention, a celebration, a vow, and a self-promise.
Here’s the episode outline:
An intro to the concept of a natural kind of dignity
The story behind the poem—written during a time of deep growth and shedding of old skins
How to use this as a daily affirmation, meditation, or creative reset
A live reading of the poem (plus a surprise howl!)
I forgot to say please read How to Listen with Your Whole Body in below. This shows you how to embody the prayer vs just listening to it
Two complementary gifts of d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s dignity below: a visual version of the poem + clean audio recording (no sign-up needed!!)
As I mentioned in the introduction, here’s a visual of a Cheetah Walking.
Do you see what I mean by a natural kind of dignity? Aren’t they mesmerizing?

There is no background music or sounds - just voice. I recommend you listen to it as is. But if you like music in your meditations, you can choose your own music to play on another device while you play this audio. For example, play this audio on your laptop, while you play your music on your phone.
how to listen with your whole body
‘my vision raises now’ - lift your head up slightly
‘my coat shrugs off’ - shrug your shoulders and do a shake of your body, arms, and legs
‘my neck is stretched to praise’ - tilt your head back exposing your throat and resting the back of your neck on your shoulders
‘paws pressed on the edge…gaps between my burrowed claws weave a wilder’ - open and close your hands. stretch your fingers
‘the grief….the stain’ - punch or kick out
‘the juicy’ - Smile/lick your lips
‘I howl’ - howl loud and long
